I began studying essential oils in 1991, and my first licensing in bodywork was in 1994 (Massage Therapy, Ashmead College). As I moved more and more into gentle, effective, empowering types of work, I found myself seeing more permanent results with the addition of energy therapies. I began teaching energy work in 2000.
I have my Masters degree in Holistic Health studies, I am a Supervisory Instructor in the EMF Balancing Technique (having studied under Peggy Phoenix Dubro) and an Instructor in Quantum Touch hands-on healing. I've completed the advanced Quantum Touch courses; Supercharging, Core I and Core II.
I have also received training in CranioSacral Therapy (Upledger Institute), Jin Shin Jyutsu (High Touch), the Trager Approach (not an active practitioner at the Institute), Aromatherapy (The East-West School for Herbal & Aromatic Studies), LaStone Therapy (LaStone), Reiki (Usui), Equine Massage (Northwest School for Animal Massage) and Equine Acupuressure (Tallgrass Equine Acupressure). Other studies have included Low Frequency Sound Therapy, Aroma General and Lightbody. I am a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals as well as the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.
That said, my passion for personal growth and empowerment is what has fueled my journey. The challenges I've had, while not easy or enjoyable, have taught me so very much on all levels. We are incredible beings and have the ability to live our lives full of health and happiness. That is what I choose!
